Coting up next 1onth Nill be the SPACE Birthday Neeting. said it last year and I Nill say it again this year, you NILL NOT NANT TO NISS THE JULY KEETING~ Last year Nas the biggest turnout of a 1eeting I had ever seen and Ne had a great dinner and a really great ti1e. At the last 1eeting 1 Ne had discussed the food situation and 1any thought that the entire 1e1bership should get involved and br ing food. S0000 1 Ne Nill be di vi ding up the next 1eeting into 1 1enu sections' , One section Nil l bri ng chips, pop, 1eat etc. PLEASE co1e so that we can have enough help Mith the banquet preparations. The officers did a qreat job last year, but Mith lhe size of the 1e1bership 1 Ne could easily do it again. If we have abundant participation, you Nan t even have to eat dinner beiore the July 1eeting. We will al so be planning ga1e festival s and other activities. News 1s scarce 1n the ATARI world, sol still don 't have very auch . I still aa getting catalogs fro• the few faithful 1a1l order houses out there that support ATARI and I will continue to bri ng those to the 1eet1n9;. For the su11er aonths , we are going to kick Dack a little and really enjoy ourselves~ It also Nas suggested that we have the July 1eeting outdoors . b, Joe Oanko reported that he created a 0.0.K. Mith the coapression and arc progra1 files; to use the 1enu, rename the files with ' ,CON ' extenders. Al so, the D.O.N. for this 1onth is the last of the Twin Cities At ari Interest Group (TAIS) which Ne did not have in our library; Joe has gotten a disk subscription to Saga1ore Software which is going to be supplying software for the Atari. 7. Joe Danko gave a description on how to hook an Atari up to a 1ode1 and Nhich 1ode1s will connect which Nay to an Atari syste1. The three ways to attach a 1ode1 are: ll 1/0 bus using an NIO; 2> SIO Mith a direct connect 1ode1; 3) S10 with an Atari 858 or P:R: Connection. 8. Joe Danko reported that the telephone coapany is again trying to charge phone users who have 1ode1s on their lines, Al so, the list of local BBS are 1n the Twin Citi es Co■puter User 11agazine. 9. A questiofi was asked on wttdl po"er suppl y does an Alar1 1027 printer take; the best gueis from the 1e1bers was a 9.5 volt power supply. Keypunch software has created so1e new ga1es for the Atari. Budget Co1puter has no neN software for the Atari and i s getting ready to liquidate the Atari softNare it has in its warehouse, Nathan Nill keep us infor1ed. 3, Lance fro1 Video bl has 1any ga■es avai lable; he ' s on the official list of Atari dealers; Lance talked to the Atari representative and there are no new ga1es for the 8-bit, though new gaaes have been released for the Atari 2b00. One game Lance has ava1la0le 1s Lords of Conquest , which w1l l allcw up to 4 players tc play. 4.
