Nice to see Greg and Glen at last month’s Annual Meeting; wish I had seen you there too! The three of us held the mandated elections, and voted everyone in for continuing their roles as president (me), VP (Nolan), secretary (Steve), and treasurer (Greg). Plus, Glen in the roles of membership chairman and DOM librarian, and Nolan keeping the website up and running. With only the three of us there, there really weren’t any other options. Yes, we have a Christmas party scheduled this month. Bring a dish to pass, and catch up on all you’ve been missing at SPACE. Hope you can make it!

How do you hold an election and plan a Christmas party with three SPACE members? Well, that is what took place at the November SPACE meeting: Glen, myself and a surprise from our President, Michael, who we didn’t expect since he lives in Wisconsin. Glad he could make it for the election. Since Lance and Brian made it last month but knew they would not be able to come in November, they agreed to keeping the Club officials the same as this year if that was agreed upon by the attending members. So that is how we left it with no changes. The harder part was trying to decide on the menu for the Christmas party next month. We all know that tacos will be the main dish, and Glen will once again bring the ingredients for root beer floats, but beyond that is anybody’s guess. I can only say that if you come to the party next month bring a dish for everyone to share. We didn’t have an official meeting as we just stood around and let Glen guide us through the November 8bit DOM. By the time we started with the DOM it was already 8:00

P.M. Thanks to Michael catching up on his DOMs and renewing his membership, we took in $39.00. Pretty good for just the three of us. My contribution was $3.00 for the November DOM; no ST DOMs for the month. With the $39.00 added to our beginning balance of $429.54, we now have a SPACE balance of $495.54. No expenses were paid out for the month. Michael asked if it was feasible to continue the Club with so little support and I mentioned that as long as we took in enough money to pay the bills I was still okay with the way things were going. I know that when Lance gets well we will be back to having more normal meetings, but it could be a few more months down the road. We just have to be patient for a while. So, don’t forget the party next month. I know Lance is going to try to make it if Beverly will drive. Remember that spouses or a friend are welcome to join us. Hope to see you all on December 9. HELLO WORLD! Well, even though I was not the Club last month, I will give a short Secretary’s Report. In recent weeks, I have found out that we have had a death in the SPACE Club. Steve Berglund passed away on June 22, 2016, at the age of 56. He will be missed. Our condolences and prayers go out to his family. I will be at the SPACE Christmas Party this year. Lance and Brian will be there as well. I will bring my usual bag of chips and dip, and Lance will bring in his beans and franks. Glen will bring in his root beer floats, and Greg will bring in the tacos and pop. We are all good about that sort of thing. Well, that concludes the Secretary’s Report.
